FAQ

How can we tell if it's a real player or AI?

We ensure full transparency. All matches in our AI Tournaments are played using the in-game "Legendary AI", with no human players involved.
You can tell the difference by looking at the in-game interface: you won’t see player tags, control icons, or latency indicators that typically appear in human vs. human matches. The gameplay is fully automated and follows the built-in AI logic — no manual control, no scripts, no human input.

Is the AI in these matches really “artificial intelligence”?

Yes — but it’s important to clarify what kind of AI we’re talking about. In-game "Legendary AI" is rule-based, not learning-based.
That means it follows predefined logic, tactics, and player traits rather than adapting in real time or learning from match outcomes.
While the AI can react to the flow of the game (changing formations, press intensity, etc.), it does so based on predetermined instructions — not machine learning or neural networks. It’s a complex simulation that still showcases realistic decisions, but it doesn't evolve or “think” like advanced AI systems.

Do AI matches follow the same pattern every time?

No — while the AI operates based on predefined rules and logic, each match unfolds differently. The AI responds dynamically to in-game situations, making decisions based on factors like positioning, tactics, and timing. This creates natural variation in gameplay, so even with the same teams, no two matches are ever exactly alike. The outcomes are not scripted or fixed in advance.
